I have just opened a amazon webstore, i had a lot of trouble at start with my pics not uploading, i had to change my browser from safari to mozilla 3.6 edition, I also needed ungated which i was not told about so after answering a rake of questions i finally got there but not without a dispute over my fees i had been paying all this time that i finally got refunded 2 days ago, im now up & running & can not fault amazon webstore anymore. www.kymsbeadboutique.com

i am the victim of amazon…if i am given 200,000 i will never ever buy&sell on amazon. My honest recommendation to all you good people is think as many times as you can before selling on amazon…

I just canceled my Amazon Webstore free trial. You can’t cancel online . . you have to call them. My decision to cancel came after waiting for 3 weeks for an answer to this question “How come when I put an item in my shopping cart it won’t let me check out and says the quantity is invalid?”. Every few days I would ping them and ask what the status of my question was and they would apologize and explain that they were trying their very best to get me an answer but as of yet had none. IMHO their webstore builder is not ready for prime time. I’m going to ProStores and give them a try.

yes, they require upc’s to keep scammers and fraudsters from infecting their sites, most sellers of fake merchandise dont have the upcs that come with legit products.

Hi, I have used Amazon and Prostores. Prostores allows your to list without upc's and in addition you can launch to Ebay to build your customer base. You take the pictures, do the descriptions and your store is reliable and easy to shop. Tom

I have to agree with Webstore above. I have had trouble to create the webstore, and in the end only realized that Amazon webstore will not allow anything that do not have UPC. What other alternatives do we have?

I disagree. Amazon webstore only works if you have UPC’s on your products. If you are selling clothing, which hardly ever has UPC’s, you cannot use their system. I was told that I needed to ask for an exemption from UPC’s and it would be fine. Two days later, after completely building the site (but never being able to upload my product), they respond by saying that without UPC’s I cannot use their webstore. I responded by telling them that if I cannot upload MY MERCHANDISE to MY WEBSTORE, than it is worthless and not worth $60, and to cancel my account. They responded with instructions on how to cancel.

If you DO NOT have UPC’s, then AMAZON WEBSTORE will not work for you. I wish I’d known before I spent over two days working on it. Now I have to start from scratch again.

Amazon not only sucks, but those SOB’s stole close to $5000.00 from me. They suspend my account with perfect feedback and with out reason, then they say they will hold my funds for 90 days or more.

They said that 1 1/2 months ago. And get this; they can extend that period every 90 days after another review. What a crude bunch of thieves.

They really know how to make you feel like a worthless prostitute. At least prostitutes, receive pay for their work.

I experienced exactly what the other authors above went through. Now I know why they got rid of the Mafia ! So they could usher in the Amazon Mob.

They make you a offer you cant refuse. Then they take your money. If you want to steal.

Set up a business like Amazon, then Steal until your heart is content and your pockets are full. After all , there is not a lot you can do directly.

But indirectly, spreading the word has a very powerful effect. So keep spreading it………………….
