I agree with Angelika. I just transferred over to jumplaunch recently and I've experienced the same problem as her twice in the past two months! I currently can't access my website, cpanel, server via FTP... or any of my email accounts! Definately a far cry from their stated "99.9% uptime." Hate to bash, because the guys are so great to deal with when you actually get them on the phone or in a live chat... but I can't afford this happening all the time unless they can fix things mighty quick and reassure me this aint happening again!

I have an account with jumplaunch and encounter problems. I use WordPress for my website and it happened now the third (!) day, that I can't access my webpage (although it was working a few hours before with WordPress)! Jumplaunch states on their official site, that WordPress 2.8 has problems and they are not responsible for that. I only wonder why my blog/website is working during the week and on the weekend isn't (with no direct help-chat available of course).
Also with my FTP program I can't access my files hosted at Jumplaunch! I wonder how that can be a WordPress problem!

Mr Perkins,

What you need to do is go to their support page and request for support over there. Register a support account, and then submit a ticket. You should do this with any hosting if you need to request any help or for any enquiry.

Most people think phone or email is the easiest way to resolve problems. It is not! Use support ticket because this way your can track their response, you can record the time they take to reply to you and you have the proof of what they tell you to do.

You probably signed up with a 2-year plan or something. That is why you credit card statement says so. You should have checked the total amount during checkout, not after that. Guys and gals, when signing up with any webhost, please make sure you check each field at every step when you register. Don't leave fields as default if you don't want to be paying more than you are willing to (paying 2-years in advance etc.).

These problems can be avoided if you don't rush into signing up.

Good luck.

I signed up for jump launch, because it was $4.95 a month. I just found out they charged me $118.00, which I did not know they would do. I have never rec an Email from them, and can't seem to find any way to login. So I have called them and can't get an answer. Does anybody know how to cancel tem or Email them?
