Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Your domain name probably has expired and they no longer able to give you your Auth Code. They did not sell your domain to eNom. eNom is a domain registrar used by many web hosting companies.

Although I do not believe Justhost is at fault in this case, I always recommend people register the domain name with a different company and never with the web hosting service to avoid this kind of problem.

Just Host is a fraud company. It is a cheater organization. For one year I had been requesting for Cancellation of my services but they always cheated me. Now I have asked to give my Authorization Code and Registration Key so that I should register my Domain with some other good Company. For the last 6 hours they are totally doing unlawful things by misguiding . When I sent them an e mail in return I got response from Blue Host. To my astonishment they have sold my web site to other Company ENOM.COM who have placed it on-sale.It is open fraud . I will take them to the court of Law in US Courts.I will continue my struggle against this fraud company and its affiliates that is Blue Host and enom.com. I will even Request American Media to expose this Company so that innocent American should not become victims of this Company.

Before today I would’ve told you JustHost was great. They’ve always solved my problems in the past, but today I fell victim to their 10% rule and they suspended my account immediately and with no other option except to upgrade to a dedicated server and pay $149/mo. That’s just not even an option so I have to find a new host and rebuild my site all over again. If you even suspect your blog or site will become popular (which I hoped but didn’t think it would) DON’T use Just Host!!!!

No problems with Justhost from me. Very speedy customer service and very helpful. Nice user interface for the cpanel. 5 stars from me.

Any hosting company would have reacted the same way. The domain name is a seperate purchase and can’t be cancelled. Not very fair to blame the hosting company for your mistake or expect them to sort it. I’ve been with just host for the last 6 months and found their customer service to be very fast and very helpful…even to the point of logging into my account and fixing mistakes I have made when setting up a php forum transfer.

I agree. You have make mistake with domain name so why should they make your mistake. And as well it does not have anything to do with hosting. Everybody will do so as well.

I have sites at GoDaddy and JustHost. Never had a problem with GoDaddy, don’t know how their customer service is. I’ve had several problems with GoDaddy, but their customer service is good, and they’ve always come through.

I use some folders with no index.html file, so visitors can see contents and select files for download. GoDaddy calls that a “file repository” and does not allow it. JustHost has no problem with it.

10Mb is already quite big. I used another web host and I was not even able to update my WordPress Core because their limit is so low. But all it took was a polite request to their tech support and they increased the quota. You could try that too

Well, I take it all back. A less grumpy tech support fellow from JustHost contacted me (after I complained) and agreed to up the limit to 20MB.
