Not 100% sure what I think of it compared to some of the others, but they certainly seem to react well to customer requests and having looked at the release notes, they are regularly adding new features and fixing issues that users have identified, which seems a good sign for the future. Cheers, Mark.
]]>Pros:
Flexibility – you can hire programmers and engineers and build a customized store that can fit any special needs.
or
you can watch the videos they have on there help site and do it yourself. its very easy to do. There are some more difficult task that you may want to do, but its not hard to learn. You do not need a programmer, just some basic html knowledge.
Cons:
Can cost more initially.
Not easy to maintain as you will need a team of IT staff.
You do not need to hire an IT team. If you have any issues, just call tech support and they will walk you through the whole process. I have had to call in a few times and every time I get a person that I can understand and that is very helpful.
I do not work for BC or get paid by them. I am just a user. I am just a regular Joomla power user that stumbled across BC and love it.
but I could be wrong too. you may find Big Commerce to be very complicated and hard to use. if so I dont recommend you give it a bad review. Just come out and say that you its your fault that you cant figure it out.
